Mikel Arteta opted to share Arsenal's crowning moment with his family but he later joined his Premier League title-winning squad for late-night and early-morning celebrations in Mayfair.
Mirror Football understands Arteta was amongst those who attended Tape Nightclub in Hanover Square after the Gunners made arrangements to air Bournemouth's 1-1 draw with Manchester City at the Sobha Realty Training Centre.
The Spaniard revealed following the 1-0 triumph over Burnley on Monday evening that he planned to watch Tuesday's contest at home with his loved ones and he is believed to have been true to his word.
Arteta was not visible in any footage of the wild scenes at the club's training ground which included sporting director Andrea Berta being hoisted into the air, champagne corks being popped and Arsenal's players dancing to 2010 World Cup song 'Wavin' Flag' before bellowing out a passionate rendition of Queen's 1977 classic 'We Are the Champions'.
Once the initial pandemonium slowly began to subside, it was onto the real stuff.
Collectively, Arsenal's players headed home to embrace their partners and proud families before getting changed and heading out into central London.
Unsurprisingly, their destination of choice was the popular celebrity hotspot Tape. It was a rare opportunity for the group to let off some steam following a gruelling season and well-placed sources have made it clear the night was one for the books.
In many respects, it was also a full-circle moment for some of the squad as three years ago, Sporting CP's players headed to Reign nightclub in Piccadilly Circus after eliminating the Gunners from the Europa League on penalties at the Emirates Stadium.
At the time, the prospect of Arsenal one day partying alongside Arteta, who has worked tirelessly to restore the fortunes of one of English football's greatest clubs, seemed far-fetched.

But it did happen and sources have indicated the Arsenal head coach certainly enjoyed himself, dancing with his stars - plus some fans - as they savoured and soaked in every moment.
Noni Madueke grabbed the mic and rapped, just as he did after Chelsea's Conference League triumph in Poland a year ago, while captain Martin Odegaard and several other players jokingly drank from Arsenal-branded water bottles to mock the club's critics.
While most attendees inside Tape were Arsenal players and staff, insiders suggest there were also a few lucky party-goers that enjoyed the chance to celebrate with the new Premier League winners.
Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Jurrien Timber and Ebere Eze then took it upon themselves to travel to the Emirates Stadium around sunrise, where they arrived around 5am, much to the shock of the few weary-eyed supporters still in the vicinity.
The integral Gunners quartet wanted to get a feel for the chaos that had ensued in N5 following the full-time whistle at the Vitality Stadium.
A selection of videos, live stream footage and photographs suggest they did exactly that.
