“Stranger things” | Moyes set to rescue West Ham once again

**David Moyes could be set to rescue West Ham from relegation from the Premier League once again, despite no longer being at the club.**

The former Hammers boss, although seen as a frustrating figure at times when in east London, is still remembered fondly by most – and that connection with the Scot is being revisited as we hope Moyesy comes to the rescue of the cockney boys again.

Yes, of course West Ham need to deliver – and that sits with Nuno & the players on Sunday, which is without doubt going to be one of the biggest occasions for the club as we look to pull off the impossible.

If West Ham do manage to beat Leeds on the final day, all in east London will be praying Moyes can steer his Everton side to victory in north London over Spurs – who provided West Ham a lifeline by losing and performing poorly against Cheslea.

The West Ham Way Podcast duo Dave Walker & ExWHUEmployee like many are now getting set for a final day of nerves which will result in either 2 things – relegation to the Championship, or survival & sending Spurs packing.

“That result against Chelsea has given us hope but as we all know it’s the hope that kills you,” stated Walker. “I wish I could say I’m confident that we will stay up but I’m not so sure.

“I know Tottenham have a poor record at home but I just cannot see them leaving that game with nothing. We need Moyesy to do us a massive favour then make sure we turn up against Leeds because if we play like the way we did against Newcastle then we’ve got no chance, regardless of what Tottenham do.”

Ex shared Walkers thoughts and also is looking to Moyes for a miracle.

“Well we live to fight another day but are we just prolonging the misery?!” added Ex. “Of course I’d rather be in this position than not but I just can’t see spurs not getting at least a point against Everton!

“But….. football is all about the stories and the “meant to be” moments, could David Moyes complete one more indirect survival push for West Ham and seal his fate as one of our best ever managers? Stranger things have happened…. Here’s hoping and praying and begging….”
