The central midfielder is currently reeling after being left out of the France squad for the upcoming World Cup. It is understood that he is considering his future at Santiago Bernabeu, and Spurs have emerged as a potential destination.
Now, according to an exclusive report from Football Insider, incoming Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is likely to play a pivotal role in deciding Camavinga’s future. Currently, the La Liga giants have sanctioned the France international’s exit once the 2025-26 campaign ends, having dropped down the midfield pecking order.
Technically strong and tactically versatile, Camavinga would fit De Zerbi’s style of play like a glove. The 23-year-old’s grit, technical craft, spatial awareness and running power has earned admiration across Europe, which will help him thrive in a system based on pressing, fluidity, and sharp transitions.
With Yves Bissouma’s contract up in the summer, and Joao Palhinha’s future uncertain, Tottenham desperately need creativity and control in the middle of the park. The Madrid star, capable of playing at left-back as well, ticks many of those boxes. That being said, however, Tottenham’s lack of participation in Europe next season is likely to become a big obstacle in any potential move for Camavinga.
