Marcus Rashford's loan spell with Barcelona will soon come to an end after an impressive season in La Liga but his Manchester United future remains in doubt

Barcelona boss Hansi Flick remains in favour of signing told Marcus Rashford and has told the forward he is happy with his contributions in Catalonia. Flick, however, has made it clear to the loanee that the final decision does not rest solely on his shoulders, per the Spanish media outlet Cadena SER.
Rashford has one match remaining of his loan spell at Barca, where he has scored 14 goals and provided the same number of assists on his way to winning the league. The 28-year-old even scored an outstanding free kick to help defeat Real Madrid and earn the title against Barcelona's biggest rivals.
The Catalan giants have a £26million purchase option in their loan agreement with United to sign him. The financial obligation means there has been a great deal of speculation over Barca's willingness to activate it.

It is said that the La Liga side have until June 15 to trigger their buy option. There are indications from Spain that the club may look to renegotiate it.
Rashford is open to severely reducing his salary to sign with the club, or to sign a longer deal so the move can be amortised over a longer period and is said to be 'exploring his options' to help facilitate a move. The England international is keen to remain at Camp Nou.
"This is the perfect way I want it to end. I'm very happy, I just want to enjoy today," Rashford said after winning the league.
"I live in the moment. At the end of the season, we will see.

"I came here to win and we do this so I'm very happy. It's an incredible feeling.
"Over the season we deserved it, we were the best team. We had some bad moments but we always come back and fight to improve."
Any reluctance from Barcelona could see Real Madrid look to throw a spanner in the works. Jose Mourinho is expected to make is return to the Spanish capital and has reportedly identified Rashford as a target following their time together at Old Trafford.
Mourinho believes the winger would be a valuable addition to a squad he wants to be deep and competitive. The move could additionally unsettle Barcelona.
