Diallo called Arsenal out for relying on corners.

The Manchester United winger should regret his comments.

Amad Diallo fired shots at Arsenal after Manchester United beat the Gunners 3-2 as the winger felt they were solely reliant on scoring from corner kicks to win games.

The Ivorian international’s claim has come back to bite him as Arsenal have won the Premier League title this season with one game to spare.

Arsenal’s reliance on set-pieces has drawn criticism from fans and pundits like but for the 23-year-old to write “your only hope is corner. Be humble, kid” to a fan on X was an example of an active player slating their tactics.

Your only hope is corner🤣

Be humble KID 🤫

Arsenal fans have gone out of their way to aim digs at Diallo for his jibe.

One Arsenal fan responded to Diallo’s post in capital letters by telling the attacker that he will never win the Premier League title: “You will never win a Premier League title in your life.”

Kai Havertz’s goal against Burnley is what ultimately won the North Londoners the title, as he headed in Bukayo Saka’s corner, leading another supporter to point out the irony of the situation: “A corner won us the league.”

It’s safe to say that the Emirates faithful did not take kindly to the former Atalanta star’s comments.

Amad Diallo should regret his comments about Arsenal

Regardless of how one feels about Arsenal fans’ hostile responses, Diallo should regret his comments as they were unwarranted at the time.

Manchester United had beaten Arsenal and instead of celebrating the victory, the Abidjan-born ace took needless jibes at Mikel Arteta’s side and their style of play.

With United failing to win the title since 2013, Diallo’s focus should remain on trying to help them reach the summit of English football again instead.
