Arsenal want to sign Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi during the upcoming summer transfer window as they look to bolster their first-team squad with reinforcements ahead of next season.

The Gunners secured their first Premier League title since 2004 on Tuesday night, with rivals Manchester City being held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth, thanks to an excellent strike from Kroupi in the first-half.

Mikel Arteta’s side have the opportunity to secure a historic double when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on 30 May, and they head into this summer as one of the most attractive destinations in world football.

Despite their success this season, Arsenal have no intention of resting on their laurels and it’s understood that a fairly sizable squad overhaul will take place ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

The likes of Ben White, Ethan Nwaneri, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli have all been linked with permanent exits in recent weeks, while the club have earmarked a number of top targets from across Europe.

FootballTransfers understands that a new full-back, a new central midfielder and a new attacker will be pursued by the Premier League champions, with Newcastle United trio Valentino Livramento, Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon all on their radar.

However, several other players have also been added to Arsenal’s wish-list, including the aforementioned Kroupi, as per The Guardian" href="https://www.theguardian.com/football/2026/may/20/arsenal-mikel-arteta-new-contract-pay-rise-kroupi-alvarez-transfer-targets" target="_blank">The Guardian.

Confirmed: Arsenal want to sign Eli Junior Kroupi

Kroupi has been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid following an excellent debut campaign at Bournemouth, but Arsenal also want to sign him, with the Frenchman viewed as a player capable of improving their options on the left flank as well as being able to compete with Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres for a centre forward berth.

The 19-year-old has scored 13 goals in 32 Premier League goals so far this term, the most a teenager has ever managed in their debut season in the competition’s history, and he has widely been tipped to leave the Vitality Stadium this summer.

Bournemouth reportedly value Kroupi at around €92 million (£80m) and he would therefore become their club-record sale if he departs for that fee this summer, exceeding the €72m that Manchester City paid to secure the signing of Antoine Semenyo in January.

It’s understood that Arteta has made signing a new forward a “priority” for Arsenal before the start of next season, with Atletico Madrid superstar Julian Alvarez also seen as a top target by the Gunners hierarchy.
