Chelsea have just 90 - or so - minutes remaining of the 2025/26 season. A campaign, that many supporters have been wanting to end for some time, will reach its conclusion at the Stadium of Light on Sunday evening.

The Blues take on Sunderland, who have had a really impressive first season back in the Premier League following promotion from the Championship. For Chelsea, there is an outside shot of European football to play for, but the majority of fans are more excited about what's to come this summer.

Xabi Alonso has agreed a four-year contract to become Chelsea manager, starting his job on July 1, and the Spaniard will be given more say and power than his predecessors when it comes to BlueCo's transfer plans. Incidentally, in the summer he arrives, it is set to be a window of major surgery at Stamford Bridge when it comes to incomings and outgoings.

Plenty are expected to come through the door in SW6, but likewise, there are set to be a multitude of departures this summer. With that being said, Bobby Vincent takes a look at five Chelsea players whose futures are in doubt and could potentially - if selected - play their final match for the Blues at the weekend:

Filip Jorgensen

Unfortunately for Jorgensen, he might not get another opportunity. Robert Sanchez is expected to start in goal at the Stadium of Light. With a decision to make over young goalkeeper Mike Penders this summer, there is a chance Jorgensen is moved on.

The Dane has enjoyed some good moments at Chelsea but for the most part, he has failed to convince whenever given an opportunity. Sanchez is preferred to Jorgensen, and if Penders is to stick around next season, someone will surely have to be moved on.

Tosin Adarabioyo

The 28-year-old defender has had a poor season for Chelsea. Tosin, the most senior outfield player in the squad, has struggled when called upon this season and could leave this summer, with just two years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea signed Tosin on a free transfer a couple of summers ago, so will - one way or the other - make profit in that regard. You would be amazed if he gets any minutes in Sunderland, in what could be his last match as a Blues player.

Benoit Badiashile

The Frenchman has made just eight Premier League appearances throughout the season. Badiashile is so out of favour, he has not even been in the squad for the last seven league games. There is no injury - he has simply been overlooked.

Badiashile looks certain to leave this summer as Chelsea look to secure as much of the £35million they paid for him as possible. Given this season, though, and the 25-year-old defender's lack of first-team minutes, that will be incredibly difficult. Either way, it looks as if Badiashile has already played his final game for the Blues.

Alejandro Garnacho

Garnacho is out of favour at Stamford Bridge. The 21-year-old former Manchester United winger's last Premier League start came more than two months ago, in the 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United in SW6.

With Alonso arriving this summer, there are question marks over whether Garnacho suits the new Chelsea manager's style of play. The Blues paid a relatively modest - in today's market - £40m fee to bring the Argentine in less than 12 months ago, and might look to flip him in the upcoming window.

Liam Delap

Similar can be said about Delap. Chelsea paid Ipswich Town £30m for his services last summer but it really hasn't worked out for the striker at Stamford Bridge. Since the 23-year-old's last goal for Chelsea - in any competition - he has appeared 25 times.

Delap has scored just two goals all season-long. With Emanuel Emegha coming in from Strasbourg and the future of Nicolas Jackson to be sorted out, it might be time for Delap to move on from west London after just one season. He will be hoping for some minutes to try and stake his claim at the Stadium of Light this weekend.
