Aston Villa are showing an interest in signing a second Manchester City player after being previously linked with goalkeeper James Trafford.
The Villans recently qualified for the Champions League and also lifted the Europa League title this week, rounding off a sensational season for Unai Emery's side.
With Champions League football comes the need for a deeper and stronger squad in order to deal with the hectic fixture schedule and the tough opponents to come.
The Midlands club won't want to stand still after their impressive campaign, and they are already preparing for the summer transfer window.
Villa should be able to attract a higher calibre of player after their success this season, so it could be an exciting window for their supporters.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Aston Villa are one of the sides showing an interest in signing Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders ahead of the summer transfer window.
The City midfielder could be on his way out the door after just one season, with a host of clubs showing an interest in securing his signature. City would consider offers in the region of £45m to allow Reijnders, described as 'world-class', to depart, effectively making their money back.
The Villans are not the only Premier League club to hold an interest, so it could be a difficult race to sign him.
The report claims that Unai Emery's side are open to making an offer as long as they feel that he wants to make the move to Villa Park.

According to reports, Aston Villa are also considering stepping up their pursuit of Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford ahead of the summer transfer window.
The English goalkeeper has struggled for game time at the Etihad Stadium after Pep Guardiola brought in Gianluigi Donnarumma shortly after Trafford arrived.
The former Burnley goalkeeper was predominantly used as a substitute option, while also being given run-outs in the cups. There's every chance that Trafford will want to go out and play regular first-team football, so it could be a move that suits all parties.
