Katie McCabe's decorated spell at Arsenal has come to an end, with the Ireland captain playing her final game for the Gunners at Anfield on Saturday.
In 11 years at the club, McCabe won every trophy available to her, and departs North London as a true Arsenal club legend.

Manchester City
The strong favourites for Katie McCabe's signature, Manchester City would be an enticing destination off the back of their second WSL triumph this season.
City have been heavily linked with McCabe, and the Ireland captain would be right at home among the WSL champions.
By all accounts and reports in the UK, City look the most likely destination for McCabe, but there has been no hint of any negotiations taking place thus far.

Chelsea
Katie McCabe was a Chelsea fan in her youth, but during her years at Arsenal, she embraced the natural rivalry between the clubs.
There have been a few flashpoints between McCabe and the Blues in recent years, most notably this year's Champions League quarter-final. Chelsea head coach Sonia Bompastor publicly slated McCabe after a hair-pulling incident the Irish captain insisted was accidental.

Despite the bad blood, Chelsea would be daft not to go for McCabe if she were an attainable target; her past affinity to the club could well sway her.
Manchester United
The least likely of the top-four finishers in the WSL, Manchester United missing out on Champions League football is likely to eliminate them from the race for McCabe's signature.

One of the biggest clubs in England, United's treatment of their women's team has been widely criticised at various points over the past five years, but they are a growing force.
They have enjoyed success in recent years, winning the 2024 FA Cup and reaching this season's Champions League quarter-finals. An outside shout.

Lyon
Lyon were reportedly on the hunt for Katie McCabe's signature two summers ago.

David Ornstein of The Athletic reported that Lyon's formal approach for McCabe had been rebuffed by Arsenal, but McCabe said at the time:
I’ve seen the rumours and for a club like Lyon to be interested, it’s really nice, but I’m an Arsenal player.
It would certainly not be a surprise to see them re-enter the race now that the Dubliner is a free agent.
Owner Michele Kang is a reported fan of McCabe's. Speaking of which...
London City Lionesses
Another club owned by Kang, London City Lionesses are on the rise in the WSL, finishing 6th last season.
Given Kang's known interest in signing McCabe, combined with her settled residence in the city, they could be an intriguing outside shout to sign the Irish veteran.
Another European club
There is the possibility that Katie McCabe could move somewhere further afield than the WSL.
Lyon would not be the only European club tracking McCabe, who was named in the Champions League team of the season in 2023 and started every game of Arsenal's triumph in the competition last season.
She is well known across Europe and would be a brilliant option for many teams; however, she appears more likely to remain in England.
NWSL in the USA
The prospect of playing in the States is an intriguing one for any footballer, and Katie McCabe's Ireland teammate Denise O'Sullivan thrived there for many years before her winter move to Liverpool.
However, this does not appear to be the time for McCabe to make the move across the Atlantic.
McCabe is well settled in London. Her partner, Caitlin Foord, remains with Arsenal, and McCabe is well established in the WSL. It is also ideal for McCabe to be based closer to home for Ireland camps, something head coach Carla Ward will no doubt be thinking.
Though intriguing, a move to the NWSL seems an unlikely proposition for McCabe - for now, at least.
