Mikel Merino told staff he really enjoyed the “food, service, and atmosphere” during his visit to Storia Radlett on Wednesday night (May 20), after Arsenal’s title was confirmed the night before.
Staff at the Watling Street eatery decorated his plate with the word “champion” and several fans were able to get pictures with the midfielder, who was dining with his family.

Manager Enver Zhegrova said: “He was happy, he enjoyed the food, he enjoyed the restaurant and everything was good.
“He said he would come back.”
He added: “A few of the staff in the restaurant were Arsenal fans and they got a picture with him.”
The Gunners officially won the Premier League on Tuesday as Manchester City’s draw with Bournemouth meant they could no longer pick up enough points to catch the North London club.
The squad had watched the match from their London Colney training ground.
