The two League Phase table toppers meet in the final in Oslo, Norway, and have earned their respective spots in the showpiece on pure merit, breezing through any and all obstacles on their way.
Barcelona have had yet another outstanding season, having lost just once in all competitions in a run which has seen them win 28 times in their last 30 matches, drawing the other two.
Despite these numbers, everything will be decided by just 90 minutes of play, and Olympique Lyonnais are no pushovers. After all, they hold all the cards in terms of the pedigree they possess in Europe, winning eight Champions League titles to date, and will be eager to return to their throne for the first time since 2022.
Team news ahead of the final
Pere Romeu has an abundance of extraordinary talent to choose from, but there are some big names who may miss out or at least may not start. Star player Aitana Bonmati is one of those names, as she has only just returned from injury, although may be risked due to her importance.
Caroline Graham Hansen could feature for the Blaugrana, however, following her own injury, while Polish forward Ewa Pajor is expected to lead the line, with her currently in incredible form in front of goal.
For Lyon, they also have some big names missing out. One of those is Kadidiatou Diani, who will not play a role in the final for the French giants after she had to undergo surgery following an injury she sustained against Arsenal in their semi final second leg.
Jonatan Giraldez will also be without Liana Joseph, who continues to experience injury struggles. They will instead have to rely on the experience of veterans such as Wendie Renard, Jule Brand, and Ada Hegerberg to take them over the line.
