Everton are preparing for their new season, and life after captain Seamus Coleman, after it was announced he would be departing after 17 years with the club.
The Toffees were battling for European football before a run of some poor results to end the campaign, with David Moyes now hoping to lead his side to a top-half finish in the Premier League in their first campaign at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Club owners The Friedkin Group are now hoping to kick on next season and improve even further, and that has seen them begin to work on plans to improve the squad ahead of the transfer window opening.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Everton have held talks over a deal to sign Newcastle star Kieran Trippier this summer.
The former England international will leave St James' Park at the end of his contract this summer, and is looking to continue his career in England's top-flight, despite having interest from Championship clubs too.
The 35-year-old, described as 'incredible' by Howe, is understood to be one of several options being considered by Everton's hierarchy, and initial discussions have been held about him moving to Merseyside.
Everton are looking to add multiple new full-backs to the squad this season with Nathan Patterson also expected to be on the move, while left-back Vitalii Mykolenko's future is unclear, although it's believed that a 12-month extension clause in his contract will be triggered to keep him around.
Adam Aznou, who signed from Bayern Munich last summer, is likely to head out on loan. Trippier is capable of playing at left-back and right-back and would provide plenty of experience and quality, and would help fill the leadership hole that Coleman's exit will leave.

While Trippier isn't as good as he once was in his career, he is still more than good enough to be a regular in the Premier League, and would be a top signing for Everton.
Coleman has barely played over the last three seasons, but has largely been kept around because of his leadership qualities and what he brings off the pitch. Trippier has the experience to be able to match that, but also make a difference on the pitch too.
A short-term contract to keep him in the division and improve the squad, while also allowing room for another signing to come in and compete with him is perfect business, and this could be a really shrewd move for all parties.
