Everton have joined the race to sign Boca Juniors wonderkid Milton Delgado, with a whole host of clubs now chasing the 20-year-old's signature ahead of the summer.
Everton exploring move to sign £15m wonderkid
The Toffees look set for another busy transfer window this summer. They've got plenty to build on after coming close to European football this season and with long-term servants like Seamus Coleman leaving, there's plenty of room for future stars.
It looks as though the Friedkin Group are prepared to branch out into the South American market for those future stars, too. According to Sports Boom, Everton are exploring a move to sign Delgado from Boca Juniors this summer.

The defensive midfielder is a future star and has burst onto the radar of the Toffees, as well as Besiktas and Inter Milan - highlighting just how highly he is rated around Europe.
With a €17.2m (£15m) release clause in his current deal, Delgado could quickly become a bargain deal for Everton this summer. His potential would pay back that fee and then some in years to come. Whether they can fend off any interest from Italian giants Inter remains to be seen, however.
League stats P90 25/26 Milton Delgado James Garner
Minutes 1,021 3,324
Tackles 2.73 3.14
Recoveries 7.23 4.79
Duel success 48.8% 60.8%
Pass success 87.7% 87%
Dubbed "intelligent" and "tenacious" by U23 scout Antonio Mango, it's easy to see why Everton are interested in Delgado. He would be the perfect midfield partner for Garner.
The Englishman excels in winning duels and tackles, but is not at the same level as Delgado when it comes to recovering possession. The duo would simply balance out each other's respective weaknesses to form the heart of David Moyes' side. It's a no-brainer for the Toffees.
Everton will "do best" for Grealish, says Moyes
A big question that Everton must answer heading into the transfer window surrounds Jack Grealish. The Manchester City loanee is still just that, rather than a permanent star in Merseyside, and Moyes could only reiterate that they'll continue to help the midfielder through his injury recovery this week.
"We’ve got a few plans in place. Finances will obviously play a big part in it so we will need to navigate round the best we can. Obviously we like Jack a lot. We’ve looked after Jack all the time since his injury. It’s looking in good order now, the surgeon speaks very well about it and thinks it’s healing greatly.
“Normally a player would go back to his parent club and be looked after from there, but we will continue doing our best for Jack. He is incredibly well liked inside and outside the building but ultimately he is not our player, he is Man City’s player."
Grealish has certainly won the hearts of the fans. Whether that's enough to secure a permanent move remains to be seen, though.
