Arsenal may have already claimed their first Premier League title in 22 years, but despite still having the Champions League final to play, attention has turned to the summer transfer window.
The Gunners were crowned Premier League champions after Man City were held to a 1-1 draw with Bournemouth on Tuesday night, while they will face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final in Budapest on May 30th.
But Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta are already keeping one eye on the transfer window as they look to continue their momentum into the new season, and a new midfield target has now been identified.
Arsenal Eyeing Alex Scott Deal
Alex Scott
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Arsenal are keeping close tabs on a potential move to sign Bournemouth's breakout midfield star Alex Scott this summer.
Scott, who has previously been described as 'unbelievable' by outgoing Man City boss Pep Guardiola, has enjoyed a sensational campaign for the Cherries which saw him earn his England debut under Thomas Tuchel, and a place in the provisional squad for the World Cup this summer, although he ultimately missed out on a place in the final squad.
But a number of clubs have been hugely impressed by his performances this season, and are keen to find out if a deal for the 22-year-old is possible, with Andoni Iraola set to depart as manager at the end of the campaign.
Bournemouth are desperate to tie him down to a new contract and fend off the interest, but they have put an asking price of at least £60m on his head too.
The Gunners are expected to look to bolster their midfield this summer with Christian Norgaard likely to depart after playing a bit-part role this season, and Scott is someone they are keeping a close eye on.
Scott Would Be Top Signing for Anyone

Scott showed during his performance at the Emirates earlier this year that he is more than capable of playing at the highest level, and considering his age, he is someone who would be a top midfield signing for anyone in the Premier League.
Arsenal already have Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi in starting roles, but Myles Lewis-Skelly has shown during the run-in that he can also play there. Scott is capable of competing for a spot, but he may want to play more regularly to ensure his development doesn't stall, and that could be an issue.
But should he become available this summer, then Arsenal would be made not to at the very least hold talks to find out if he would be open to joining, and what it would cost to get a deal done.
