Arsenal have confirmed that Karl Hein will leave the club permanently to join Werder Bremen.
Hein’s move to Werder Bremen comes following a loan spell in which he only featured twice for the German club.
The goalkeeper joined Arsenal from Nomme United in 2018 and featured prominently for the club at youth level, making over 40 appearances for the U21s.
Hein also experienced loan spells at Reading and Real Valladolid, with his only senior competitive appearance for Arsenal coming against Brighton in the Carabao Cup in 2022.
During his time at Arsenal Hein became a senior Estonia international and has gone on to play 45 times for his country.
