Arsenal have confirmed that Werder Bremen will sign Karl Hein when the transfer window opens in July.
The 24-year-old spent last season on loan with the Bundesliga side, making two appearances before suffering a serious hand injury that required surgery.
Hein returned to London for rehabilitation work in March, but clearly made an impression on head coach Daniel Thioune, who has moved quickly to recruit the goalkeeper on a permanent basis.
Hein joined Arsenal in 2018 and made a single first-team appearance in the League Cup four years ago before loan spells with Reading and Real Valladolid.
Most of his senior football has come at international level, where he has become a regular between the sticks for the Estonian national football team.
Best of luck for the future, Karl.
