Chelsea get ‘revenge’ on Man City
In a highly-anticipated clash between the two sides in the FA Youth Cup earlier this season, it was City who came out on top in dominant fashion.
This is why Nizaar Kinsella reported those behind the scenes at the club felt a sense of ‘revenge’ in their victory this time around.
The two clubs broke their gentleman’s agreement when Ryan McAidoo made the switch from Chelsea to City, and he was the only one on target for their opponents on Friday night.
This was not enough to cause the Young Blues any real harm though, and they have now added the Under 18s title to their Under 21s victory secured a few weeks ago.
