Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has put out the latest on one Chelsea transfer saga threatening to take over the summer.
We are all aware of the situation around midfielder Enzo Fernandez and how it’s quite possible that he ends up departing the club at the end of this season. But where he goes, whether he goes, and all the details around it right now, all remain very unclear. It’s quite possible though, that today is Enzo Fernandez’ last game in a Chelsea shirt.

We will see what happens this summer, but Romano has provided some small updates around his situation, and more so, the interest coming in from Manchester City.
We all know that Enzo Maresca is going to be the next City manager this summer, and it’s clear that Maresca and Fernandez got on well at Chelsea, so the Italian will likely try and bring Fernandez to City this summer. However, he’s apparently not first choice….

Speaking on his YouTube channel yesterday, Romano said:
“Enzo Fernandez is one of the names mentioned internally at Man City should they not be able to agree on a fee for Elliot Anderson, who will be very expensive.”
