Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has put out his latest updates via his YouTube account, and there are many Chelsea related snippets.
A lot of them are quite interesting as well, and he has some updates on Xabi Alonso’s involvement in the summer transfer window and decisions at the club overall going forward.

Alonso does not officially start his job as Chelsea manager until the start of July, so we have some way to go yet. However, he will have already gotten to work unofficially and will be speaking with the decision makers at Chelsea around what he thinks the squad needs, who he wants to sell, and who he wants to buy. So naturally, that side of the work will be underway now.
Romano has told us all to make sure we do not forget what he told us about Alonso and how much of a say he will be getting…

Speaking on YouTube, Romano said:
“Don’t forget what I told you about Xabi Alonso. Xabi will be part of the conversations, so he’s going to be a big part of the planning to decide who is leaving, who is staying, and also additions to the squad with some experienced players.”
