How to watch Sunderland vs Chelsea on TV and live streaming

The 25/26 campaign comes to an end for Chelsea today as they will take on Sunderland away from home in the final game of the Premier League campaign. Unfortunately, it has been another forgettable one for the Blues. And the hope is that this spells the end of this era, and the beginning of a new one, with Xabi Alonso set to take charge from this summer.

This could also be the final time that we see quite a few players in a Chelsea jersey. Enzo Fernandez has been heavily linked with a move away over the past few days. A reunion with Enzo Maresca is very much a possibility.

On the other hand, it looks like Marc Cucurella is another candidate to depart the club this summer. Once again, Manchester City have been suggested as a potential destination. Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are said to be in the mix as well according to reports in Spain.

There are several others like Benoit Badiashile, Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia, Liam Delap, Alejandro Garnacho and more, who could depart this summer. So, this might be the last time we see this iteration of the Blues.

How to watch Sunderland vs Chelsea on TV and live streaming platforms

In the UK, the game between Chelsea and Sunderland will be shown on Sky Sports+.

In the United States, the match from Stadium of Light will be broadcast on Peacock Premium.

When it comes to Australia, the game will be on Stan Sport.

Does anything ride on the result for Chelsea?

Well, no matter what happens today, this is going to be another poor season for Chelsea. And it is not hard to see why the fans are looking forward to the campaign coming to an end.

That being said, there is a lot to look forward to as well. And the result of this match could end up deciding whether Chelsea are in Europe next season or not, even though qualifying for the Champions League is already out of question.

Of course, even that has managed to divide the fanbase. There is a section of the support who believe that Chelsea need to qualify for Europe. Even if it is not the elite competition, which is the Champions League.

But then, there is another group of fans who feel that there would not be much of a point qualifying for one of the other two and that Alonso might have a better chance of making an impact next season, if he is not expected to deal with European football constantly.
