Arsenal take on Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon in what is their first game as Premier League champions. The match has little on the line for the home side, Palace are only able to finish as high as 14th and as low as 16th, with a UEFA Conference League final in just a few days’ time.
It will therefore be a chance to see plenty of rotation and even some potential Premier League debuts. An opportunity to give players who have been patient for their chance to get into the spotlight.
In addition, with a Champions League final on the horizon, Mikel Arteta could use this game as an opportunity to try some new things and help others practice their unorthodox roles, forced by injury.
