He told the Daily Echo: “Yes, I was looking a lot to the results.
“I celebrated a little bit, I think City has scored the 2-2, it has been disallowed, and I was thinking maybe now with the 2-2 we just need one goal in each game, it can happen, you never know.
“Straight away they told me no, disallowed. So it was going to be always difficult.
“You obviously focus on your game, but especially with the Brighton game, that was the one really affecting to our possible sixth spot, going so one-sided to United.
“It was not so important really, it wouldn't matter if we had won or lost today in terms of standings, but because of the other stuff, you don't want to lose.”
