[Arsenal](https://www.sportingnews.com/uk/football/arsenal) co-chair Josh Kroenke says the club's Premier League title triumph has vindicated years of trust placed in Mikel Arteta.
Speaking after Arsenal were confirmed as champions for the first time since 2003-04, Kroenke offered a rare insight into what the club means to the ownership group and acknowledged the years of patience it had taken to reach this point.
The American also made clear there would be no let-up, with a European crown still on the line and what he described as 'several' more objectives left to chase.
"Emotionally, financially, everything, this club means the world to us and I think it took people a few years to really understand what that meant," Kroenke told Sky Sports after the game.
"But now we've got some great people, we've got some great players, some great coaches, and we've just gotta continue providing them the resources to go out and do magical things like they did this season.

"Credit to our players, our staff, and Mikel for keeping their heads on. They deserve it.
"It's nice to see the results at times, but you get really good people that have a really good work ethic, and you trust each other.
"Over time that trust gets tested at different points, but when it comes to fruition like it does today, it makes it all worthwhile, that's for sure."
"We've achieved one of our goals, but we have several others as well.
"There is still one to be played for next weekend. So I think today is about enjoying today, and tomorrow we'll get back to work because there's still one more to play."
Meanwhile, Arsenal's parade will take place on Sunday, May 31, the day after the Champions League final in Budapest.
