With Enzo Fernandez appearing to say goodbye to the Chelsea fans after the defeat to Sunderland, nobody knows if we will get to see him in blue again.
Enzo Fernandez’s time at Chelsea has seemingly reached its endgame following a chaotic final-day defeat to Sunderland. On paper, the Argentine midfielder enjoyed a highly productive individual campaign, amassing an impressive 48 combined goal contributions over the last two seasons.
However, his glittering statistics have failed to mask a deeply fractured relationship between Fernandez and the Chelsea faithful after flirting with a move to Real Madrid.
With contract talks breaking down and heavy interest looming from Manchester City and Real Madrid, the midfielder’s future at Stamford Bridge appears untenable.

Enzo Fernandez’s future is still undecided at Chelsea
Kieran Gill has issued an update on Enzo Fernandez’s situation after defeat to Sunderland via the Daily Mail.
Enzo Fernandez considers himself an elite player, worthy of competing at the highest level.
But Chelsea sources insist they don’t have an update from their side yet and that everything is just rumours as it stands.
What doesn’t help things is that following the full-time whistle at the Stadium of Light, Fernandez, who captained the side in the 2-1 loss, concluded his frustrating campaign by pointedly waving goodbye to the traveling away support.

Chelsea’s failure to secure European football on the final day has likely dealt a fatal blow to any hopes of keeping Enzo Fernandez, having previously made European qualification a vital condition for his long-term future at Stamford Bridge.
By collapsing to a tenth-place finish against Sunderland, Chelsea completely stripped themselves of that leverage. With Champions League-bound suitors like Manchester City and Real Madrid hovering, the absence of even the Conference League gives Fernandez all the justification he needs to force an exit.
