Arsenal lifted the Premier League trophy for the first time in 22 years on Sunday afternoon at Selhurst Park.
The Gunners were crowned Champions on Tuesday night when Bournemouth held Manchester City to a draw, but had to wait until Sunday to receive their winners’ medals and get their hands on the trophy. Martin Odegaard triumphantly lifted the silverware into the air in front of a euphoric away end, capping off what has been a superb league season for the North London outfit.
Paris Saint-Germain now await Mikel Arteta’s team in Budapest in the Champions League final on Saturday. This set of players will get a chance to cement themselves in the pantheon of Arsenal greats when they make the trip to Hungary.
With that said, here is the latest Arsenal news today, including reactions to the Gunners winning the league, as well as updates on Mikel Arteta and Martin Zubimendi.

Reaction to Arsenal winning the Premier League title
Mikel Arteta has been at Arsenal for six-and-a-half years, and thus, this moment was a long time in the making. The Spaniard has slowly built an exciting project, which could now be set to become a dynasty.
William Saliba claimed after the Palace game that he thinks Arsenal can dominate English football for years to come. Given changes happening elsewhere, the Frenchman could be on to something.
“With my guy here [referencing Max Dowman], just won the Premier League, but it’s not the last one! It’s not the last one, isn’t it?” he said.
Elsewhere, Bukayo Saka opened up on the darkest days of his Arsenal career so far, when speaking to Sky Sports at Selhurst Park.
"At that very moment, we were very far from the level Arsenal should've been… "

“I was in a dark place [in 2020],” he said.
“Obviously, I know what you guys have done for the club and where this club has been in the past. At that very moment, we were very, very low and very far from the level that I believed Arsenal should be.
“And obviously, I know from school, from social media, the banter, what people say about Arsenal, how they laugh about us. And in that moment, I was just so sad. I just wanted to put it all out in a post. And that’s just what I felt at the moment.”
On a different note, Arsenal fans created a new chant for Declan Rice when celebrating the title in South London. Gunners supporters belted out, ‘Declan Rice, he said it’s not done,’ in reference to the midfielder being caught saying this on camera after Arteta’s side’s defeat to Manchester City in April.
Arsenal fans have a new chant. "He said it's not done, he said it's not done… Declan Rice, he said it's not done."

Mikel Arteta’s verdict ahead of PSG
Arsenal can now go one step further and secure the domestic double in Budapest on Saturday. They’ll be up against a PSG side who have already overcome Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Chelsea on their way to the final, and are revered across Europe for their electric attacking football.
Thus, it’s sure to be a tough test, although Arteta revealed at Selhurst Park that he’s confident that the Gunners will get the job done at the Puskas Arena.
“And I’m convinced that we’re going to do it,” he said bluntly.
Martin Zubimendi makes history
In the midst of the title celebrations, Arteta experimented with something interesting away at Palace, which he could look to implement in Budapest. The Spaniard deployed Martin Zubimendi at right-back, in an unconventional move that worked well for Arsenal’s ball progression.
In the process, Zubimendi became the only Gunners player to feature in all 38 of their league matches this season. This feat also put the Euro 2024 winner into an exclusive club.
