Newcastle United are set for a major summer of change, and Eddie Howe has identified another Manchester City star that he is looking to add to his squad, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Magpies ended the season in 12th place in the Premier League, meaning they missed out on European football entirely, with a number of top stars being heavily linked with a move away from St James' Park as a result.
Howe is looking to rebuild the squad and get them back into the Champions League, and a new forward is being looked at as an option to come in and bolster the side.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle are among the clubs showing a strong interest in Man City's Brazilian forward Savinho.
Savinho, who has been described as 'unstoppable', signed a new contract at the Etihad Stadium last year after being heavily linked with a move to Tottenham for most of the summer, but struggled to establish himself as a regular in the squad, falling further down the pecking order after Antoine Semenyo's arrival in January.
Now a move away looks like it could be on the cards once more, with GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Romano reporting that he wants regular first-team football, and the Magpies are emerging as a potential destination.
"This season for Savinho at Man City has not been easy," he said. "He wants to play on a regular basis.
"Savinho is also appreciated, from what I understand, by Newcastle. So it's another club appreciating the player."

One of the most expected exits this summer is winger Anthony Gordon, who has emerged as a top target for Bayern Munich in the upcoming window, and that means a new winger is a major priority.
Gordon is capable of playing on either wing or as a central striker, but with the likes of Harvey Barnes, Anthony Elanga, Will Osula, and Jacob Ramsey all capable of playing out wide already, the arrival of Savinho would provide great quality and depth, and extra experience.
An explosive amount of skill and pace, Savinho could provide the spark Newcastle are desperate for in attack, and a deal is very much on the table to be done.
