Worry for Gabriel Martinelli.
Having lifted the Premier League title and being one game away from winning the Champions League, Arsenal will be looking to build a dynasty under Mikel Arteta in the coming years.
Considering Pep Guardiola has left Manchester City as well, the Gunners have the opportunity to dominate the Premier League for years to come.
However, for Mikel Arteta and Co to be able to have a trajectory similar to City and Sir Alex Ferguson’s legendary Manchester United sides, they cannot afford to sit still come the summer transfer window.
One name who has been on Arsenal’s radar is Morgan Rogers and a fresh update has emerged about the Premier League champions’ interest in the midfielder.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is keen on Morgan Rogers transfer
It has been reported by talkSPORT that Mikel Arteta is personally leading Arsenal’s pursuit of Rogers ahead of the summer window.
Rogers could be open to leaving Aston Villa, a player who Arteta believes could end up as a true statement signing.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a productive season at Villa Park, registering 14 goals and 12 assists in 51 starts across all competitions.

Aston Villa value Rogers at £80 million and a bidding war could drive his price up to £100 million, Arsenal banked £198.7 million after winning the league, which makes the Englishman affordable to them in theory.
Interestingly, Jason Wilcox, Manchester United’s technical director admires the Europa League winner, while even Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are fans of the player.
Morgan Rogers could end Gabriel Martinelli’s career under Mikel Arteta
However, if Arsenal did end up signing Rogers, serious questions would be posed about whether the club intend to keep Gabriel Martinelli beyond this season.
Martinelli could be sold in the summer and the former Manchester City starlet’s arrival could force Mikel Arteta’s hand to let him go.
Rogers, who did Thierry Henry’s iconic celebration against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this season can play behind the striker and even on the left-wing, the latter being the Brazilian’s favoured role.

Perhaps Mikel Arteta’s vision involves the Aston Villa technician competing for a spot on the left-wing with Leandro Trossard.
The Belgian has also been linked with an exit but this season, Trossard has been key for Arsenal, which makes his potential departure seem highly unlikely.
