Nobody really knows what the future holds for Nicolas Jackson at Chelsea, but one thing that is for certain is that he remains in the good books of Moises Caicedo.
Nicolas Jackson enjoyed a relatively successful and trophy-laden season on loan at Bayern Munich.
Serving as deputy to Harry Kane, the Senegalese forward made 34 appearances across all competitions, netting 11 goals. His impactful performances upfront helped Vincent Kompany’s side secure a domestic double, lifting both the Bundesliga title and the DFB-Pokal.
Despite his popularity in the dressing room, Jackson is set to return to Chelsea this summer. Bayern Munich failed to trigger his hefty £56.2 million permanent purchase option due to structural financial constraints.
However, Vincent Kompany would love to sign the striker at a lower price.

Moises Caicedo hails Nicolas Jackson as ‘legendary’
Taking to Instagram, Nicolas Jackson posted images of himself celebrating Bayern Munich winning the Bundesliga title recently.
Moises Caicedo was the only Chelsea player to respond in the comments, as he said, ‘The legendary’, but Benoit Badiashille, Reece James, Dario Essugo, John Terry and Tosin Adarabioyo all liked the post.
Moises Caicedo and Nicolas Jackson formed an incredibly tight bond during their initial time together at Chelsea, anchoring the spine of the team. And as close friends off the pitch, Caicedo publicly expressed how much he missed his “brother” following Jackson’s recent move to Bayern Munich.

Give Nicolas Jackson a go this summer
Chelsea should absolutely integrate Nicolas Jackson into Xabi Alonso’s plans this summer rather than discarding him. Fresh off a domestic double with Bayern Munich and an Africa Cup of Nations trophy with Senegal, Jackson returns to Stamford Bridge as a proven winner.
His 14-goal debut season at Chelsea already proved he can cut it in the Premier League, and his development under Vincent Kompany has only refined him.
With Chelsea needing a dynamic forward who understands the club and already has chemistry with Cole Palmer and Caicedo, it’s a no-brainer.
