Anthony Gordon is closing in on a blockbuster transfer to Barcelona, which could have a serious impact on the future of his England team-mate Marcus Rashford
Gordon has seemingly rejected interest from the Premier League and Bayern Munich to opt to join La Liga champions Barcelona. It's reported that the England winger has agreed personal terms with the Catalan giants and a £70million fee plus bonuses has been agreed between the clubs.
It's claimed that sporting director Deco was recently in London and conducted discussions about Gordon, who has now been swayed by the Catalan club and is set to fly in to complete his medical tomorrow before putting pen to paper.

Gordon's future could also play a huge part in where Marcus Rashford will be playing next season. The Manchester United loanee has registered 28 goal involvements and helped Barcelona win the league; however, his £26million buy option is yet to be triggered.
Despite this, transfer reporter Ben Jacobs has said that Rashford still remains a target for the Blaugrana and Hansi Flick is open to the opportunity to sign both English wingers.
Manager Eddie Howe, who has himself been linked with a departure from St. James' Park, has acknowledged that Gordon's final appearance for Newcastle may have already taken place.

When questioned whether his omission from the starting XI following his return from injury was connected to the speculation, he revealed: "When you get to this stage of the season, part of what we will be doing we'll be looking to next year, naturally, so yes.
"Anthony's just come back from injury. I think the team has played well in his absence and with a partial view to the future, yes... No, nothing, no updates from me. These are discussions that potentially might be happening, but not with me."
Gordon's immediate priority will be supporting England at the World Cup next month, with the former Everton star having earned selection in Thomas Tuchel's 26-man squad.
