Such developments have sparked fresh chatter surrounding the future of the aforementioned Marcus Rashford, amid suggestions that Gordon’s arrival could rule out his fellow countryman’s move to Catalunya being made permanent.
According to journalist Guillem Balague, however, the Rashford track remains very much alive in Barcelona…
Posting on his official ‘X’ account on Wednesday, Balague wrote:
‘This is not the end of Marcus Rashford at the club as right now the idea is to keep him, too. According to club sources, Barcelona will return to 1v1 rules and have money for a couple or three big transfers.’
