Striker spotted in London amid rumours he could sign for Chelsea this summer

Chelsea’s search for a new striker this summer could see the Blues push to sign Dusan Vlahovic this summer after he was spotted in London.

The Blues found success with the signing of Joao Pedro during the previous summer transfer window. He has been nominated for the Premier League Transfer of the Season award.

The same cannot be said for Liam Delap though, who found the net just once in the Premier League in his first campaign as a Chelsea player.

Chelsea made a mistake getting rid of Noni Madueke! Do you agree?😠

This has seen rumours that the Blues would be open to selling Delap already, with a number of English sides reportedly interested in a deal.

This will see Chelsea need to sign a new striker, with Dusan Vlahovic a player they have been linked to signing in the past on a number of occasions.

Now, according to Corriere Dello Sport, the striker has been spotted in London, with it expected he was in discussions over a move to a Premier League side.

Vlahovic is set to be a free agent at the end of the season when his contract with Juventus comes to an end, making him a realistic target for any top club.

The Serbian has scored seven goals in 19 Serie A games so far this season.

Chelsea facing interesting striker dilemma

Finding competition for Pedro up front would also potentially allow the Blues to use him in a deeper position next season.

Nicolas Jackson is set to return to Stamford Bridge during the summer, and is reportedly open to remaining at Chelsea despite being loaned out at Bayern Munich.

Jackson has previously shown he can get the best out of Cole Palmer, who has just endured a season so poor he missed out on England’s World Cup squad.

The final decision will ultimately be Xabi Alonso’s, including whether he believes Vlahovic will be a suitable signing.
