Andy Robertson has reached a verbal agreement with his next club after leaving Liverpool, with the veteran left-back turning down a late offer from Juventus.
Robertson will be a Tottenham player next season after agreeing on terms ahead of a free transfer this summer.
BBC Sport‘s Sami Mokbel is among those to report that an agreement is in place in principle, with only the finer details to iron out before the move becomes official.
The specifics of the deal are as yet unknown, but he is likely to be handed a shorter-term contract having turned 32 in March.
It comes after a failed approach from the north London club in January, with Liverpool unwilling to allow their vice-captain to leave mid-season as they were unable to recall Kostas Tsimikas.

But with Robertson’s contract expiring at the end of June he will be free to join up with Roberto De Zerbi’s side after the World Cup with Scotland.
His imminent switch to Tottenham means he will remain in the Premier League, with there having also been the opportunity to head to Serie A with Juventus.
Despite Juventus’ late offer he has remained committed to the decision he effectively made months ago, setting up a reunion with Liverpool as an opponent next season.
Tottenham secured their place in the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Everton on the final day, with it almost certain the deal would have fallen through had they dropped to the Championship.
It seems likely that Robertson will be unveiled as a Tottenham player before the World Cup, with an announcement expected within the next fortnight.
Scotland will play two warmup friendlies before the tournament, first hosting Curacao in Glasgow (May 30) before heading to the United States to face Bolivia in Harrison, New Jersey (June 6).
They are then pitted against Haiti (June 14), Morocco (June 19) and Brazil (June 24) in Group C, as Robertson looks to lead his country beyond the group stage for the first time in their history.
Liverpool are now set to head into the new campaign with Tsimikas as backup to new first-choice left-back Milos Kerkez.
