Chelsea are going to be active in the transfer market this summer, and there is a player who they have already signed.
Geovany Quenda is joining Chelsea from Sporting this summer in a deal that has been confirmed and agreed for some time now. He will be arriving to join Chelsea’s first team squad and work under Xabi Alonso.

However, it’s been difficult for him to leave Sporting, with the club holding a very special place in his heart. In fact, he lost sleep over leaving Sporting apparently, and he has said some emotional words about it all this week.

In quotes picked up by SPTC this week, Quenda said:
“I had nights where I couldn’t sleep because it was very difficult for me to say goodbye to a club that helped me and my family so much. It’s a very special club for me.
“The club will always stay in my heart. I have no way to thank Sporting enough for how they treated my parents and my family.
“I will always carry Sporting in my heart. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you soon. I hope one day I can wear the Sporting shirt again.”

Allegedly, Chelsea don’t want to sell Enzo Fernandez, and have set a high asking price for him. Although I don’t believe it…. I’m sure he’ll go for much less than £120m.
