Arsenal could reportedly announce Mikel Arteta’s new contract extension in the coming weeks.
The Spaniard has done a remarkable job since returning to the club as Arsenal manager in December 2019.
Last weekend, Arteta finally guided the Gunners to their first Premier League title in 22 years.
Previous reports have suggested that Arsenal planned to reward the 44-year-old with a new contract once the season had concluded.

According to Arsenal insider DarrenArsenal on X, the club are expected to officially announce Arteta’s contract extension in the coming weeks.
It is understood that Arteta was offered a new three-year deal back in March, although the manager preferred to wait until the end of the season in order to maintain full focus on winning major trophies.
Talks between both parties are believed to have progressed quickly, with the agreement now viewed as only a matter of time.
The new deal would reportedly keep Arteta at the Emirates until the summer of 2029.
Arsenal are expected to step up their plans as the summer transfer window approaches, with the club continuing to hold internal discussions over potential targets. Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta are both believed to be actively assessing several options as preparations for next season continue behind the scenes.
