Riccardo Calfiori has confirmed that he is not planning on leaving Arsenal this summer, despite admitting he has 'unfinished business' with former club Roma.

The full-back has played 36 times in all competitions this season, as Arsenal lifted the Premier League trophy. He will hope to play a big part in this weekend’s Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain as the side look to make the campaign even more special.

Calafiori joined the Gunners from Bologna back in 2024, but has been linked with a move away from the club. Chelsea have been mentioned as a potential destination for the Italian.

He has now spoken about his long-term plans, including a desire to move back to his home country later in his career.

Speaking about his future, Calafiori told La Repubblica : "Not now (moving away from Arsenal). One of the reasons I came to play in England is that few Italians have made a career here.

“But the way it feels in Italy is unlike anywhere else. And I have unfinished business there."

When asked if he was referring to Roma, he said: "Of course. I was young, I played very few games. I'd like to return to my favourite team."
