All eyes will be on Budapest this Saturday, as Paris Saint-Germain take on Arsenal in the final of this season's UEFA Champions League.
Both of these teams have enjoyed fantastic campaigns, winning their respective league titles. Paris Saint-Germain will also be looking to retain the Champions League - becoming the first team to do so since Real Madrid in 2018 - while for Arsenal, this marks their first Champions League final in 20 years.
So with everything on the line, which of these great teams will prove themselves to be the kings of Europe this Saturday?
Paris Saint-Germain vs Arsenal Head-to-Head and Key Numbers
Paris Saint-Germain famously met Arsenal on three occasions in last season's Champions League. In the initial league phase, Mikel Arteta's side ran out 2-0 winners. In the semi-finals, though, despite a brave effort, Arsenal were beaten in both legs, losing 0-1 at the Emirates and 2-1 at the Parc des Princes.
Paris Saint-Germain are actually coming into this game on the back of a rare loss. On the final matchday of the Ligue 1 campaign, they were stunningly beaten 2-1 by city rivals Paris FC, who scored their winner in added time. The loss was PSG's first in nine matches.
Arsenal, meanwhile, signed off on their Premier League victory with a strong win over Crystal Palace. The Gunners are now unbeaten since a brief wobble in late March and early April that saw them win just one of six matches. Currently, they've won five in a row.
PSG have beaten a who's who of Premier League sides recently. After eliminating Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal en route to their Champions League triumph last season, they then defeated Tottenham in both the UEFA Super Cup and this season's Champions League. The only English side to defeat them recently were Chelsea, who beat them in the World Cup Cup final - and they were firmly dispatched in the Round of 16 this time.
Arsenal's defensive record in the Champions League this season has been outstanding. They conceded just four goals in eight matches during the league phase, winning every game, and they have only conceded a further two since the knockout rounds began.
Paris Saint-Germain vs Arsenal Prediction
This is a remarkably difficult game to predict, and not only does it pit Europe's best two teams against one another, but it also pits the most scintillating attack in the world against the toughest defence.
Who will come out on top, then? The outcome may well hinge on who takes control of the midfield, and in that sense, Paris Saint-Germain are arguably more well-equipped, with the trio of Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz and Joao Neves being able to control seemingly any game.
Given that the French champions have already scored 44 goals in this season's Champions League, it's not a stretch to see them being able to crack Arsenal's defence. And while they'll have to be careful, particularly from set-pieces, it's still likely that they will come out on top.
Prediction: Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Arsenal
