Chelsea’s rocky relationship with the agent of star player Enzo Fernandez has put the Blues in a difficult position when it comes to keeping him this summer.
Fernandez has made it clear that he has an admiration to play for Real Madrid in the future, and there is an expectation he could get that move this summer.
Florentino Perez will promise to sign Fernandez as part of his plea to remain Madrid president, potentially pairing him up with Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea do not get on with Enzo Fernandez’s agent
Xabi Alonso was reportedly keen to speak with Fernandez about his status, although the feeling is that his mind is made up regarding his immediate future.
According to Striver, Chelsea’s relationship with Fernandez’s agent is not good, and the Argentine has refused a number of contract offers that have been put his way by the Blues.

They said: “If you want my feeling, I think it’s more likely than not he leaves. Chelsea do not get on with his agent, and Enzo has not agreed to the provisional salary offers that were proposed to him in recent months.”
The Blues have already managed to tie down Reece James and Moises Caicedo to new contracts over the past few months, suggesting Fernandez’s issues are personal rather than widespread throughout the team.

Chelsea weighing up Real Madrid swap deal
Despite insisting on a big fee for the Argentine, interest from Madrid doesn’t look as if it is going to go away anytime soon.
The possibility of pulling off an unofficial swap deal with the Spanish giants is on the table too, with Mourinho set to have his influence on the side.
The Blues are big fans of Dean Huijsen at centre-back, and were pushing to sign him last summer before he moved to Madrid.
With Alonso looking for defensive reinforcements, a deal could be struck between the two sides if it becomes accepted that Fernandez will depart.
