Enzo Fernandez has made it clear he wants to leave Chelsea this summer, however only has a very limited set of sides who can pay what the Blues want.
Even the hiring of Xabi Alonso seems to have not changed Fernandez’s thinking, with Chelsea not qualifying to feature alongside the elite in the Champions League.
It was reported that Alonso wanted Fernandez and Marc Cucurella as key pillars of his Chelsea side, however even the left-back is keen on a move away too.

Chelsea spent a club-record fee at the time for the World Cup winner, and will not want to lose him for a minimal fee despite his desire to feature for Real Madrid.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Spanish giants are one of the only three sides who will be able to afford the price Chelsea are asking for, alongside Manchester City and PSG.

He told TalkSPORT: “Chelsea acknowledge that Enzo Fernandez wants to leave, but they’re not desperate to sell and will engage for a fee of £120m.
“Only 3 clubs can probably afford that – City, who are focused on Anderson, PSG, who want a more rigid number 6, which might put them off, and Real Madrid, where we have to wait until Jose Mourinho comes in, they’re not decided on what type of midfielder they want yet.”
All three sides have at one point been linked with signing Fernandez, however the player seems to have a significant desire to play for Madrid.
Chelsea made a mistake getting rid of Noni Madueke! Do you agree?😠
Man City signing Enzo Fernandez would be bad news for the Premier League
The Premier League should be thankful if it is true that City are not currently prioritising a deal to sign the Argentine.
A move there would see Fernandez reunite with former manager Enzo Maresca, who he arguably played his best stuff for Chelsea under.
The Italian has a big job on his hands trying to live up to the standards set by Pep Guardiola during his time at the Etihad.
Elliot Anderson would be a sensational coup for Chelsea’s Premier League rivals, however the Blues would dodge a bullet if they didn’t have to line up against Fernandez next season.
