Go Ahead Eagles goalkeeper Jari De Busser has revealed he has told the club he wants to leave this summer amid interest from Celtic.

The Scottish champions face a summer of transition, with the club yet to name their next permanent boss with talks between title-winning Martin O'Neill and Dermot Desmond delayed.

The Parkhead giants have also made tentative enquires about the shot-stopper, who is reportedly valued at around £1.25million as he enters the final year of his contract with the club.

The Hoops are in need of a new goalkeeper to compete with Viljami Sinisalo after Kasper Schmeichel hung up his gloves at the end of last season, following an injury-plagued campaign.

And 26-year-old De Busser has lifted the lid on his talks with Go Ahead - who have already signed Kjetil Haug from Toulouse as a replacement.

The Belgian goalkeeper told VI: "The plan is for me to take the next step.

"I have said it before, and it is also being done in consultation with the club.

"They are aware of the situation, and we discussed it before this season. But well, a club has to come forward first."

Record Sportrevealed earlier this month that the Hoops were on alert for RB Salzburg misfit Bobby Clark, as he returns to Austria from his loan spell at Derby County.

Salzburg are expected to green light a cut-price departure for the former Liverpool starlet, and *Salzburger Nachrichten*report Clark has "sparked interest" from new sporting director Marcus Mann.

He is keen to cut the club's wage bill with a permanent departure of Clark viewed as a way to slash the wage bill before spending in the summer.

Julian Araujo’s short-term move to Celtic was cut short due to injury but the Mexican made an impact in Scotland before he returned to Bournemouth - with the Hoops understood to be keen to hold discussions over the possibility of a another loan – or a potential permanent switch

But Monterrey have reportedly stolen a march on their signing rivals. *Vamos Azul*state that new sporting director Dennis the Kloese has already held talks with the players representatives.

The Hoops have also been given the chance to revive their interest in Callum Wilson - as he confirmed his West Ham departure.

The 34-year-old looked to be on the way out of the London Stadium in January - but a change of heart from boss Nuno saw him remain with the Premier League strugglers for the relegation battle.

But he could not fire the club to survival, and posted to social media: “I’m sad and extremely disappointed that it has ended this way. This club deserves so much better because there are so many unbelievable people behind the scenes that you fans don’t always get to see.

“For now, all I can say is thank you. Thank you to everyone who supported us. Your passion is amazing, and I truly hope you return to the Premier League, where you belong, as soon as possible.”
