CBeebies has commissioned a second series of grassroots sports show, Football Fantastics.
Hosted by Jill Scott, the 10 x 15minute shows feature a mix of football, skills training, comedy, songs and adventures.
They’re made by Strike and will also feature cameo appearances from Declan Rice, Nico O’Reilly, Ollie Watkins, Andy Robertson, Alessia Russo, Hannah Hampton and Chloe Kelly.
“I’ve loved coming back for series two and getting to share some of my favourite football skills with the Fantastics and the audience at home. What I love about Jill’s Skills is that it’s not about being perfect. It’s about encouraging kids to have a go, try new things and enjoy being active together,” said Scott.
“With the World Cup this summer getting everyone excited about football, it feels like such a brilliant time to encourage families to get involved and enjoy being active together. That’s what Football Fantastics is all about too, bringing people together, building confidence, having fun and showing kids that anyone can join in and give it a go.”

The second series will feature a trip to the Match of the Day studio at MediaCity, talking football boots, a ball-munching hedge, space football with “real aliens”, a superhero show-and-tell, a complex bucket heist, giant mascots, an adult fan band and kids-v-adults penalties.
“Football Fantastics captures everything we love at CBeebies, it’s joyful, imaginative and full of energy. This second series builds brilliantly on the first, bringing together football, comedy and creativity in a way that really connects with young audiences and families,” said Kate Morton, Senior Head of Commissioning for CBeebies.
“It’s all about building confidence, teamwork and the joy of having a go. We can’t wait to welcome the Fantastics back.”
To mark its return, Jill Scott will also be reading a special football-themed story for CBeebies Bedtime Stories.
