Atletico fire back at Barcelona with ‘offer’ for Lamine Yamal in bizarre post amid Julian…

Atletico Madrid have raised a few eyebrows with their social media activity amid intense speculation about a Barcelona move for Julian Alvarez.

Atletico started off with a message that read: “In a few minutes, we will publish a statement about a relevant matter that is generating numerous pieces of disinformation.”

The club then followed up with a post which shows a picture of Lamine Yamal in an Atletico shirt and the message:

“HERE WE GO! We have sent a fax to@FCBarcelona_es with our transfer offer: 4 tickets for tomorrow’s Bad Bunny concert, an annual subscription to ABC, and a bag of sunflower seeds. We eagerly await the response to prepare the ‘announce’.“

Another post then followed up in the club’s English X account that read: “And remember, it took us just five minutes to create this fake post.”

They weren’t done there either, turning their attentions to Pedri aftewards. “HERE WE GO! For this second offer we’ve had a problem, we’ve run out of tickets for tomorrow’s concert, so we improve the previous proposal with 6 for the one on Sunday.”

It’s a curious move by Atletico but shows perhaps the growing tensions at the club amid the continued speculation regarding Alvarez’s future.
