Liverpool’s hopes of signing Eli Junior Kroupi may have suffered a significant blow, with Bournemouth reportedly determined to block the sale of the teenage star this summer.
According to TEAMtalk, Bournemouth are preparing to take a firm position on multiple prized assets, including Kroupi, Alex Scott, and Brazilian wonderkid Rayan Vitor Simplício Rocha, despite mounting interest from several elite clubs.
The report reads: “Manchester United and Chelsea lead the pursuit, with the Red Devils considering a formal bid and the Blues accelerating background work on the dynamic No 8. Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur – whom Scott supports – along with Newcastle United and others have also monitored the player closely.
“Cherries striker Kroupi has broken records in his debut Premier League season and has attracted interest from Arsenal, while exciting winger Rayan has been considered by Liverpool and other top sides.”
Liverpool have already been linked heavily with Eli Junior Kroupi, who has emerged as one of the Premier League’s brightest young forwards.

Liverpool remain keen on Kroupi after breakthrough season
The 19-year-old enjoyed a sensational debut campaign, scoring 13 league goals, becoming one of the most productive teenage forwards in Premier League history. Bournemouth view him as central to their long-term project and are understood to have no intention of entertaining offers.
Liverpool’s admiration is understandable.
Kroupi profiles as the type of dynamic, high-upside attacker Liverpool have increasingly targeted in recent years — capable of operating centrally while also offering mobility and pressing intensity across the front line.
With Liverpool expected to continue reshaping their attack following Mohamed Salah’s departure and uncertainty around other forward positions, Kroupi has naturally emerged as an appealing long-term option.
Rather than cashing in, Bournemouth appear intent on building around their young core after a historic season.
That stance extends beyond Kroupi.
Midfielder Alex Scott is reportedly valued at more than £60m, while teenage Brazilian forward Rayan Vitor Simplício Rocha is considered even more difficult to prise away, with Bournemouth holding a strong negotiating position on both players.

Liverpool may need to move quickly or look elsewhere
For Liverpool, the report is another reminder of how difficult elite young talent has become to acquire once players establish themselves in the Premier League.
Bournemouth’s financial strength and European qualification mean they are under little pressure to sell, particularly after previous high-profile departures in recent transfer windows.
While Liverpool’s interest in Eli Junior Kroupi is unlikely to disappear, Bournemouth’s current stance suggests any deal would require a massive offer if one is even possible this summer.
For now, the Cherries appear determined to ensure that one of Liverpool’s most exciting attacking targets remains exactly where he is.
