The 2026 Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal
Arsenal suffered Parisian pain in their last Champions League final 20 years ago.
Now the Gunners have the men from the French capital in their sights in their bid to make up for it.
Arsene Wenger went down to a Henrik Larsson-inspired Barcelona in the Stade de France in 2006.
Sol Campbell had given them the lead after keeper Jens Lehmann was sent off but Larsson came off the bench to turn the game and the Spaniards netted two late goals.
Paris-Saint Germain now stand in their way as they look to retain the trophy they won for the first time in their history last season.
Here's how the Record Sport team see the big one going in the Puskas Arena.

PSG are rightly favourites and if they're at their best in Budapest, they might be too strong for the Gunners.
However, don't underestimate Mikel Arteta's side's defensive capabilities. Marshalled by Gabriel and William Saliba, they can keep Luis Enrique's men at bay for large spells of the game.
If Arsenal can be level going into the extra-time, they can hold out for a historic shoot-out win.

It feels like it could finally be time for Arsenal to end their European trophy drought. They will have to quell the Parisian's attacking flare with a defensive masterclass, but as the old song goes - '1-0 to the Arsenal'.

PSG remain criminally underrated by oddsmakers on these shores; they look every inch a generational outfit. Winning the Premier League title after years of near misses makes Arsenal a formidable opponent. But PSG are built differently and Luis Enrique’s sizzling side will be too strong in the end. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia appears teed up for a display which will fire him into Ballon d’Or contention.
PSG 2 Arsenal 1

Paris St Germain are the current kings of Europe and have the attack talent to hurt Arsenal and ensure they keep a hold of their trophy. A narrow win the French.

Mikel Arteta has finally dragged his Gunners gang across the winning line down south but stopping this fabulous French outfit will be an altogether tougher task.

I’m expecting a straightforward win for Luis Enrique’s defending champions.

The Parisians were sensational as they stormed to last year’s trophy and don’t appear to have dropped those levels at all. Arsenal have big game players though and bouyed by their title win can push PSG all the way.
PSG 2 Arsenal 1 (aet)

The Gunners go into this blockbuster clash bang in form with five wins on the spin while the reigning champions lost to city rivals Paris FC, albeit they had already wrapped up Ligue 1. The French giants defeated Mikel Arteta’s men with a bit to spare in last season’s semi-final but Arsenal are stronger in every department and can get revenge by edging this one to lift the trophy for the first time in their history - and deny Luis Enrique’s bid to become just the fifth ever manager to win three European Cups.
