Club set for huge payday if Arsenal and Manchester United move for star – Transfer considered very likely

German side FC Nuremberg are licking their lips at the prospect of Arsenal or Manchester United signing Nathaniel Brown this summer. Why? Because they’ll get a huge payday from their former player.

BILD cover the 22-year-old and how his old club are set to benefit from an expected big-money move from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Big summer move

The Eintracht Frankfurt left back is part of three Nuremberg natives who have made it into Germany’s squad for the World Cup. Nathaniel Brown, in particular, is someone that coach Julian Nagelsmann has already raved about.

“Sometimes I think you don’t even know how good you are. (…) You can have a fantastic World Cup,” he said in an introductory video about the player.

Nuremberg could end up profiting handsomely from that faith. They sold Brown to Frankfurt in December 2023 for €3.5m. He left the following summer after being loaned back.

Since then, the money has continued to flow in. They’ve already earned a six-figure sum from his Germany debut. More bonus payments are expected for his World Cup appearances.

Arsenal and Manchester United interested

A transfer to a ‘top international club’ is also considered very likely this summer. Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Barcelona and now Bayer Munich are all vying for Nathaniel Brown’s services.

According to BILD, Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director, Markus Krösche wants €60-80m for the full-back. Nuremberg would then receive around 12.5% of that fee. So, they’re very excited to see what happens with their former player this summer.

Arsenal and Manchester United’s interest is well established at this point too. Sport Witness have covered reports on both for well over a year.

Indeed, the last was Brown himself even been asked about the interest from both. He made it clear that he’s well aware of it ahead of the summer.

Now Nuremberg are waiting, and hoping, that both make big offers. They’re set to benefit greatly if they do.
