Enzo Fernandez’s agent is now in contact with superagent Jorge Mendes in order to push his client towards an exit from Chelsea this summer.
Fernandez has made his admiration to play for Real Madrid next season no secret, near enough admitting as much during the most recent international break.
This saw him internally suspended by Liam Rosenior, and although he returned to the side before the end of the season, does not seem to have changed his mind on his future.

Even the hiring of Xabi Alonso has not convinced Fernandez to stay, and now the Blues are set for a transfer saga which will dominate the headlines this summer.
Chelsea’s chances of keeping hold of him have not been helped by the fact that his agent, Javier Pastore has been involved in conversations regarding his future.

According to El Debate, the former PSG midfielder has been involved in talks with superagent Jorge Mendes to try and help facilitate a move to Madrid.
The Portuguese agent has recently been heavily involved with the Spanish giants to help them secure the hiring of Jose Mourinho as their new manager.
He is a well known force in getting big deals over the line, and could be the final nail in the coffin if Chelsea are still hoping to keep hold of him.

Chelsea do not see Fernandez as untouchable
The Blues are prepared to play hardball over Fernandez, hoping for a fee similar to what they paid in order to part ways with him.
However, Fernandez has not been named as one of the untouchables at Stamford Bridge ahead of Alonso’s first season at the club.
The likes of Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo and Reece James won’t be going anywhere this summer, however there is a real chance Fernandez is not at Stamford Bridge when the new season gets underway.
