Oliver Glasner has been mentioned for the head coach role, just like Matthias Jaissle, while Ralf Rangnick could take on a technical director role. However, these are just the names that have leaked to the media, with many more contacted.
Still early days
According to MilanNews, commenting on the rumours linking Slot with Milan, the Dutchman is indeed open to joining the club. After being sacked by Liverpool, he’s assessing his options and would be willing to hear out the Rossoneri.
As added by the editor-in-chief, Antonio Vitello, many managers have been contacted by Milan in the last few days. Most of these names haven’t leaked to the media, so the fans should perhaps expect more candidates to emerge.
Furthermore, it’s not just many managers that have been contacted, but also many sporting directors and CEO candidates.
