Jackson given second chance
Incoming Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso is ready to give Nicolas Jackson a chance to salvage his Blues career, the Daily Mail reports.
The Senegal striker spent the season on loan at Bayern Munich after being pushed out of the club last summer, following the acquisitions of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap. However, with the latter failing to impress and potentially set to leave the club, Jackson could be reintegrated into the squad.
Bayern did not take up the €65 million purchase option in Jackson's loan deal, so he will return to West London for pre-season. The expectation had been that he would be sold, but Alonso wants to get a good look at him before making a decision on his future.
Real Madrid prepare Fernandez offer

Real Madrid are considering making a €100 million offer plus potential bonuses for Enzo Fernandez, according to El Debate.
The Argentina international is pushing for a transfer to the Spanish capital, with his agent, Javier Pastore, already in talks with Los Blancos over a potential move. Chelsea, however, have reportedly slapped a huge €138m price tag on Fernandez's head.
Real Madrid are naturally hesitant to pay that much for the midfielder, but they do hold an interest in him. As a result, they are willing to pay a fee just over €100m and could try to include a player in the deal for Fernandez.
Felix windfall
Chelsea are likely to be set for a significant financial windfall, thanks to former attacker Joao Felix.
The Portugal international, who had previously spent some time on loan at Chelsea, was re-signed in the summer of 2024 in an informal swap deal for Conor Gallagher, but he struggled to leave a mark at Stamford Bridge. He was sold to Al-Nassr last year.
The upfront fee for Felix was just €30m, but up to €20m in bonuses were included in the deal. With Al-Nassr having won the Saudi Pro League for the first time since 2019 - with Felix named Player of the Season - Chelsea are likely to receive a decent chunk of those bonus payments.
