With Antony Gordon now a Barcelona player, the pressure is off Newcasrle United somewhat when it comes to selling their prize assets. That doesn't mean that they can relax, however, with interest in the Magpies' big name inevitable.
The reality is every player has their price, and while Newcastle will look to keep their best young players at the club, some offers may be just too good to turn down.
Tino Livramento is an interesting case, with the England full-back seen as a the template for future transfers. United signed him as a relative unknown and helped him develop into a defender who is set to represent Thomas Tuchel's side at the World Cup.
There have been admiring glances, with Manchester City and Arsenal said to be keen to lure the 23-year-old away from Tyneside. Then there is the issue of stalled contract talks, with his current deal expiring in 2028.
So should United cash in, or is he a player they can't afford to lose? Here's what our panel of NUFC writers think.

If there's one player that Newcastle United should ensure stays at St James' Park, it's the classy England full-back, who is already one of the best defenders in Europe.
Bound for the World Cup finals with England, and able to play on either flank, Livramento has admirers including Manchester City. The FA Cup and Carabao Cup double winners tried to sign Livramento last summer and were told to back off.
This summer could be different but Pep Guardiola's exit at City means they must wait to see how the land lies with the new boss. Either way, I think any manager would be keen on Livramento.
With Anthony Gordon already sold, Livramento will be on the list of stars that will help the club's SCR position. But after Kieran Trippier left the club, Newcastle need a first choice right-back and they already have one of the best in Livramento.
A long-term contract would be celebrated by many fans but Livramento too has to want to stay. Make it worth his while by filling the team with exciting stars.

Livramento's progress this season has been halted by injuries but there remains no doubt he is a top class right-back and he will have the chance to represent England at this summer's World Cup.
The elephant in the room is his contract situation. As of yet, Newcastle have not convinced the 23-year-old to extend his stay at St James' Park, with his current deal running out in two years' time.
Manchester City and Arsenal are interested in the former Chelsea and Southampton defender but whether or not they make a move this summer remains to be seen.
Certainly in the short term, they have to ensure Livramento stays at the club this summer. The departure of Kieran Trippier and Emil Krafth will already lead Newcastle into the market to sign a new right-back. They don't want to be shopping around for another one if Livramento departs.
Ideally, Newcastle keep him for years to come as he develops into a regular England starter and one of the Premier League's leading right-backs. But if he does eventually leave, Newcastle need that to happen next summer as they concentrate on other areas of the pitch in terms of their recruitment this summer.

Let's not allow Livramento's form in 2026 to cloud the fact he's a quality right-back and a star for years to come. He suffered a terrible year with injuries, and while he did not hit the heights in his brief return, that shouldn't mean his previous sterling performances should be overlooked. To be fair, the pass which helped create the winning goal at Chelsea in March was sublime.
While those injuries have severely hampered his season, they could actually play into Newcastle's hands, with transfer interest appearing to wane. A good World Cup could change all that, of course.
A lack of progress on a new contract could mean Newcastle are tempted to cash in on Livramento this summer, and on the face of it, selling a right-back for a hefty profit may not be the worse piece of business.
But with Kieran Trippier leaving, it would mean United would have to invest in a new player in the same position, and for me, there are none better than Tino. Let's get back around the table and thrash out a new deal ASAP.
