Though many English teams have held similar celebrations after historic achievements, but Ireland legend Duff missed out on one of the few opportunities he had to enjoy such a parade.

Damien Duff shares incredible Chelsea story

Damien Duff was part of Premier Sports' coverage of Saturday's Champions League final between Arsenal and PSG.

In 2005, Duff was also part of the first Chelsea team to win the English league title in 50 years under José Mourinho.

"It's probably a story to tell you over a pint later," Duff joked to host Eoin McDevitt.

I didn't get to celebrate with Chelsea in front of a million people on the streets.

We went to South Korea to play a testimonial type match. I lost my passport in an Irish pub, so it's somewhere out there.

The lads, nobody was willing to stay with me, they all went back to celebrate on the King's Road on an open-top bus.

I watched the celebrations on TV in South Korea on my own.

That's maybe why I have a certain thing now with teams celebrating.

Listen, when we celebrated we didn't have a Champions League, we got knocked out by Liverpool, the goal that never was. I partied for a month, or four, five, six weeks. Granted, the first day or two of that party was in South Korea. A party for one.

Someone in Seoul may well have Damien Duff's passport all these years later.
