**Manchester City** were crowned **Adobe Women's FA Cup** winners for the fourth time in their history on Sunday afternoon, as goals from **Bunny Shaw**, **Alex Greenwood**, **Aoba Fujino**, and **Vivianne Miedema** saw them beat [**fellow Women's Super League side Brighton & Hove Albion**](https://www.vavel.com/en/football/2026/05/30/womens-football/1262342-brighton-vs-manchester-city-preview-women-s-fa-cup-final.html) 4-0 at Wembley Stadium.
Fresh off the back of signing a new three-year contract last week, striker **Bunny Shaw** spoke to TNT Sports following **City's** triumph and gave an insight into her 'crazy' last few weeks.
She said: "It’s been a crazy few weeks, lots of emotions, not knowing where I’ll be, to signing a contract, to be here to win the **FA Cup**, the last time I was at **Wembley**, I actually lost, so I wanted to crawl it back today, and we actually did it."
"Within a minute, I came over to Hempo, they are popping it, and we didn’t know what to do in the first twenty minutes, and then we had a break and said let them keep it higher up in their back and just try to go man for man, and I think that worked."
"It’s been a long couple of months, a whole lot of different emotions, but I’ve always said that I wanted to be here. If I’m being honest, it’s been very difficult, but towards the end, we got it done, and I’m happy about that."
A historic double sealed at Wembley
-----------------------------------
The **Jamaican** forward bagged herself a goal and an assist under the Wembley arch to ensure [**City completed a league and cup double for the first time in their history**](https://www.vavel.com/en/football/2026/05/31/womens-football/1262418-brighton-0-4-manchester-city-clinical-city-cruise-to-historic-cup-double.html). **City** secured their first **Women's Super League** title in a decade after **Arsenal** dropped points at **Brighton** earlier this month.
She added: "I said I’m just going to go for it, I’m just going to try to make contact because normally when you make contact early, the keeper tends to get the better of it, so I said I’m just going to focus on the ball, and then whatever happens. I turned around, and I saw the ball in the back of the net I just went to and celebrate."
"It was towards the end of the half as well. I think that momentum shift kind of happened at the right time because we went into half time leading."
Shaw on her relentless self-criticism
-------------------------------------
Shaw also revealed how hard she is on herself and how she tries to rectify the mistakes.
She said: "I’m hard on myself, I must be honest. Sometimes the girls are saying I’m too hard on myself and it’s in training sometimes because normally when you’re in training, you’re trying to correct the mistakes, but they just keep on happening."
"I always watch back my clips and see where I can be better and try to correct them in games, try to relive actions in games, in training, so if it’s a case where Hempo was supposed to cross early and I didn’t get on it in training, I tried to do it to make sure I get there so in the game you know what to come."
